2009 BMW E92 335i - Aaron Jagroop -

The E90, the fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series, launched on March 5th, 2005 with the first sedan model being sold in 2006. This generation easily became BMW's best-selling automobile worldwide.  A direct tier below the M3, excelling in both performance and aesthetics. The 335i is the top of the line of the 3-series that hasn’t been touch by BMWs “M” division. It was also by far the best-selling entry-level luxury car in Canada and the United States during its time. On top of that, the year of its debut would be the same year that BMW produces one of their most iconic bodies of work, the N54 twin turbo straight 6 engine.

Let it be known that we appreciate a good build. Whether it be fully modded to the point of every aspect of the car has been modded up or the more subtle route where as its all in the details, adding to the bigger picture. Either way if its done correctly, we’re all for it. As such, we bring to you Aaron’s ‘09 BMW E92 335i.

The 335i uses reasonably wide tires for the stock wheels and sits naturally lower than other cars in its class. In this community, we do love our cars with exceptionally low center of gravity. Though rather than being completely lowered, Aaron’s E92 takes a race-like approach. BC Racing Coils were installed for his track inspired stance.

Although it doesn’t come with the behemoth V8, standard in the same generation of M3, the N54/55 equipped 335i is no slouch at around 322bhp. The N54 has earned the title of being one of the most, if not the most, tuneable European engine platform of all time. Being able to achieve crazy amounts of power with little to few mods. It can do so all while holding that power reliably, without having to do to many internal upgrades. Even with the great amount of power that the twin turbocharged engine produces, Aaron went ahead and upgraded the turbos even further with the addition of the VRSF Charge pipe. For that drool inducing turbo flutter the HKS BOV was also installed. Speaking of noises this 335i is running Downpipes to aid in the flow of those exhaust gases and sound enhancement alike.

Clean in design and aggressive by nature. This 335i has some serious attitude and we’ll be keeping an eye on it in all its glory. Make sure to check back when we update this feature with any mods that Aaron adds. A big shout out and thank you to Aaron for sharing your build with us.
